Justy Phillips spoke about this project for one of our lectures. Unfortunately I never got to see the real thing. This project shows to me that art (when it’s in the public space) has the ability to touch people in ways that can be profound.

There is something so lovely about glass. It’s partly it’s contradictory nature. Apparently a solid but also liquid, it’s state is not fully fixed. Which is emphasised by the slumping. read more here http://www.abc.net.au/local/stories/2008/08/12/2333085.htm

So far I have been unable to find the paper I wanted to use. I am a little reluctant to continue with this in case I can’t find the paper. Leslie gave me so of what we thought was waxed paper but it isn’t. I think I need a back up plan, and soon.
